What makes Shore & Seam clothing sensory-friendly? Every Shore & Seam piece is built around three core details: tagless design (all labels are heat-transferred directly onto fabric — no tags, ever), flat-seam construction (seams lie completely flat against the skin with no ridges or bumps), and ultra-soft OEKO-TEX certified fabrics tested safe and gentle enough for kids with eczema and sensory processing sensitivities.
What fabrics do you use? We use OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified cotton and bamboo blends — independently tested and certified free of harmful substances. Our fabrics are chosen specifically for softness, breathability, and durability through repeated washing. No scratchy materials, no stiff finishes, no chemical treatments.
Are your clothes suitable for kids with SPD, autism, or eczema? Yes — that's exactly who we design for. Shore & Seam was created for children who feel everything a little more deeply. Our tagless, flat-seam, ultra-soft construction addresses the most common sensory triggers in clothing. Sizing & Fit
What sizes do you carry? Our current pre-order collection is available in sizes for toddlers (2T) through early elementary age (11/12). Check each product page for specific size options. Sign up for our email list to be notified when new sizes are added.
How do I know what size to order? For sensory-sensitive kids, we generally recommend sizing up if your child is between sizes — a slightly looser fit tends to feel better. If you're unsure, reach out and we'll help.
Do the clothes run true to size? Yes, our sizing runs true to standard US kids sizing with a relaxed, comfortable fit — never restrictive.
Ordering & Pre-Orders
What is a pre-order and when will my order ship? When you pre-order, you're reserving your pieces before they're produced — which helps us manufacture the right quantities and keeps prices fair. Your card is charged at checkout. We'll send a shipping confirmation as soon as your order is on its way. Check the product page for the current estimated ship date.
Can I cancel or change my pre-order? Yes — contact us as soon as possible and we'll do our best to help. Once production begins we may not be able to make changes, but we'll always work with you to find a solution.
Do you offer a discount on pre-orders? Yes! Sign up for our email list and receive 10% off your first order, including pre-orders.
Shipping & Returns
Do you offer free shipping? Free shipping on all US orders over $125. Orders under $45 have a flat shipping rate applied at checkout.
What is your return policy? We offer a 30-day comfort guarantee. If your child isn't comfortable for any reason, return it within 30 days for a full refund or exchange — no questions asked.
Do you ship internationally? We currently ship within the United States. Sign up for our email list to be the first to know when international shipping becomes available.
Care & Washing
How do I wash Shore & Seam clothing? Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle. Tumble dry low or lay flat to dry. Do not use bleach or fabric softener — these can break down softness over time and may irritate sensitive skin.
Will the clothes stay soft after washing? Yes — our fabrics are built to maintain their softness wash after wash. Many families find they get even softer with use. Avoid high heat in the dryer to preserve both softness and fit.
