Our Story

Lighthouse on the ocean at sunset

Selah was 3 years old when the morning meltdowns began. As a first-time mom, I assumed it was just a toddler phase — until I realized the real culprit was her clothing. Tags. Tight waistbands. Scratchy seams. Things most kids barely notice were unbearable for her.

By age 4, every shopping trip became a production. She had to feel the inside of every garment, try it on, walk around in it, confirm the tag could be removed. And still — after a careful $200 afternoon together — she boycotted half the items the next morning.

Desperate, I typed five words into Google: "Cute clothing for sensory kids." What came back stopped me cold. Two websites. Boring fits. Dull colors. Nothing my daughter — a girl who loves glitter, sparkles, dresses, and the beach — would ever want to wear.

So I decided to create it.

My daughter may have Sensory Processing Disorder, but she is a smart, funny, beautiful little girl with spunk. She deserves to express herself through what she wears — not just settle for whatever doesn't hurt.

Growing up on the rocky beaches of Long Island, the shore was always my safe place. That same sense of calm and intention lives in every piece we make. Tagless. Flat-seamed. Soft against the most sensitive skin. Made from sustainable fibers in prints your child will actually be excited to wear.

Because mornings should be full of peace — and every child deserves to express on the outside the beauty that's already within them.

Shore & Seam. Crafted with intention. Created for all. 🌊
